We expect mobilisations to take place in over 30 countries, including the United Kingdom, Zambia, Kenya, India, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Brazil and Mexico. The protest will see diverse activists and movements joining together to call out the elites at Davos and demand wealth taxes from our governments. Our broader People’s Recovery Plan from Covid-19 also joins calls for climate justice, strengthening of worker’s rights and living minimum wages, upholding democracy, taxing the rich, LGBTQIA+ rights, gender equality and economic justice.
