Aline is a movement-builder with over 9 years of experience leading teams and designing collaborative campaigns with NGOs, unions and social movements, working with a feminist approach and a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion and social justice. She has coordinated international initiatives, including a podcast amplifying youth voices in the Generation Democracy network and the Meeting of Young Legislators of Latin America and the Caribbean. As National Coordinator at FIA Mexico, her work has strengthened national and international collaborations and driven progress on fiscal justice, including progressive taxes and a wealth tax, and she led the creation of a youth political training school now part of the Alforja Network in Abya Yala.

Brenda is a passionate advocate for social justice and sustainable development who has led advocacy campaigns and built strategic partnerships to advance equitable public policies across Africa. As National Coordinator at FIA Kenya, she leads grassroots mobilisation to challenge systemic inequalities and advance fair policies. A strong mental health advocate, she believes in the transformative power of mental well-being as a foundation for equity, empowerment and sustainable progress, driven by the vision of a world where policies and systems serve people, ensuring dignity and fairness for all.

Chanelle is a trained journalist with over a decade of communications experience spanning media, advocacy and movement building. As Digital Strategist at FIA, she focuses on transforming digital storytelling into collective action by centring feminist leadership, amplifying frontline voices and driving campaigns for gender and economic justice. Before FIA she worked at Access Now, leading global digital engagement on digital rights. She is also Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of Feminitt Caribbean, an intersectional grassroots feminist NGO advancing menstrual equity, gender justice and LGBTQ+ rights across the Caribbean.

Cornelius is a public lawyer who served at the Indonesian Legal Aid Foundation (YLBHI) LBH Semarang, working in legal advocacy and organising for victims of injustice since 2018, with a focus on environmental, coastal, democracy and agrarian issues. As National General Coordinator at FIA Indonesia, he has been actively involved in building a network of empowered citizens affected by inequality across several island-based regions of Indonesia.

Daniela is a Latin American activist with more than twenty years working alongside social movements to advance feminist and social justice agendas. At FIA she works with the regional coordinators to grow the Alliance and strengthen national and regional chapters worldwide.

Daud is Media and Communications Officer at FIA, supporting the design and implementation of FIA’s communications strategy, positioning the Alliance at the centre of key global debates on inequality, helping grassroots leaders tell their stories, and driving media engagement across traditional, alternative and emerging channels. Based in Lilongwe, he has over 15 years of experience in media and communications with international, regional and national civil society organisations, and is passionate about inequality campaigns, economic justice and climate justice. He believes media is an exceptionally powerful tool for positive change, educating the public, driving social justice, building movements and holding power to account.

Ed has spent over two decades helping people fight back against a system rigged in favour of the 1%. As Communications and Media Lead at FIA, he builds the narratives, campaigns and movements that make the powerful uncomfortable. Before FIA he led global advocacy and campaigns at Oxfam across 80+ countries, worked in Somalia and East Africa, and headed the organisation’s global campaign for food, land and climate. Earlier in his career he worked on the climate crisis and environmental justice, where he learned that the same concentrations of power destroying communities are destroying the planet too. That thread, that it’s all the same connected system, runs through everything he does. Outside work, Ed has young twins occupying his evenings and weekends, which leaves just enough time for CrossFit and the persistent belief that he is better at it than he actually is.

Farai is a governance and human rights activist from Zambia specialising in civic engagement, political education, communications and grassroots mobilisation. As Communications and Mobilisation Officer for FIA Zambia, he uses storytelling and digital media to amplify community voices and advance campaigns for economic justice, accountability and democratic participation. He has organised and facilitated political education trainings with FIA Zambia and contributed to major national actions including Better Than Davos, the People’s Assembly and the Fix ZESCO protest. A 2025 alumnus of the FIA Global Organising School, he is a public speaker and is pursuing a degree in Development Studies and Political Science at the University of Zambia.

Hector convened Fight Inequality Alliance in Mexico and Latin America and the Caribbean in 2017, and today serves as global Head of Secretariat. He has worked as a planner, participatory workshop organiser and trainer for grassroots organisations, international agencies, local governments and universities across Mexico and Latin America, and takes part in civil society groups working on political inclusion, socioeconomic rights and common resource management. Hector holds a Bachelor’s in business (ITESO, Mexico), a Master’s in regional development planning and management (Dortmund Universität / KNUST, Ghana) and a PhD in Social Anthropology (CIESAS, Mexico), and is a LEAD International fellow on environment and development.

Haris is a sociologist and movement organiser with years of experience in grassroots activism, youth mobilisation and political education. Through the Progressive Students Collective and The Students Herald, he has worked to connect local struggles to national advocacy. As National Coordinator for FIA Pakistan, he leads efforts to build alliances and strengthen people-powered movements challenging inequality.

Jenny has been with the Alliance since its founding in 2016, helping the movement grow to where it is today. As General Secretary, she leads the development of global strategy, the global events the movement seeks to influence and mobilise around, and the mobilising of resources needed to fulfil FIA’s 10-year roadmap. She is accountable to the Global Council.

Joan is a skilled facilitator with a passion for co-creating campaign designs and strengthening the capacities of her communities of practice. Over the last 19 years she has worked with grassroots communities, academic institutions, development organisations and nonprofits, and her experience leading volunteers shaped a leadership ethos built on leading by example. At FIA, Joan leads the overall strategy to build the infrastructure connecting globally distributed and diverse local movements, organisations and grassroots groups to mobilise people power against inequality. Before FIA, she worked with Greenpeace International, providing training, support and strategic leadership to help its global network deliver its engagement ambitions.

Kerenhappuch is a dedicated Human Resources professional with over eight years of progressive experience in HR and administration within the international NGO sector, bringing expertise in HR strategy, recruitment, employee lifecycle management, performance management, and organisational culture and values. At FIA she leads the global HR strategy, policy development, performance management and staff well-being initiatives, playing a key role in fostering an inclusive and values-driven workplace. With a background in Mass Communication, she blends strong communication skills with HR expertise to build meaningful partnerships and effective workplace policies in service of FIA’s mission.

Martha is a Ugandan feminist activist and social movement galvaniser with 15 years of experience working with women- and girl-led social movements across Sub-Saharan Africa and with feminist funds resourcing these movements globally. She has led and worked with movements on strategic mobilisation, campaigning and advocacy, spanning planning, knowledge production, stakeholder engagement, policy influencing and collaboration. As Regional Coordinator for Africa at FIA, she convenes and strengthens the Alliance across the continent, enabling and catalysing national alliances and regional work while connecting it at the global level.

Michelle is a financial resilience strategist with over 20 years of experience helping social and environmental justice organisations, foundations and movements strengthen funding, attract mission-aligned investment and scale their impact. As Resource Mobilisation Lead at FIA, she focuses on diversifying and growing a sustainable funding base to power the Alliance’s work. She combines hands-on expertise in philanthropy, donor engagement and blended-finance vehicles with a deep understanding of capital markets, and is a co-founder of the consulting collective Better by Codesign. Michelle holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town and Honours degrees in Journalism and English.

Moiz is a mobilisation and advocacy strategist with over 12 years of experience building powerful grassroots campaigns and influencing policy change at local, national and global levels. Specialising in education, gender equality and social justice, he has led some of Asia’s most impactful campaigns, including community mobilisation across Pakistan through Alif Ailaan, the country’s largest education advocacy campaign. As founding Country Representative for Malala Fund in Pakistan, he built programmes advancing girls’ education and provided multi-country advocacy support across Asia, connecting local activism to global policy dialogues including the UN General Assembly. Moiz holds an MSc in Social Anthropology and is fluent in Urdu, Gujarati and English.

Mputa is a grassroots mobiliser, peaceful protestor and activist with extensive experience championing social justice, movement building and youth participation in Zambia. As National Coordinator for FIA Zambia, he leads strategic planning, alliance-building and advocacy, aligning national campaigns with global objectives, and empowering young voices while fostering partnerships to uplift communities. Pursuing a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Lusaka, he combines legal knowledge with activism to disrupt systemic inequalities, bridging local initiatives and international advocacy.

Myriam is a social development professional, activist and film producer with over 12 years working alongside indigenous peoples, youth and women’s organisations across Latin America and the Caribbean. Working through a feminist and decolonial lens, she believes in collective power for systemic change, and is an Atlantic Fellow for Social and Economic Equity. As Regional Coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean at FIA, she collaborates with grassroots leaders and collectives across the region to build a diverse, inclusive and powerful movement for social justice and equity.

As GOS Coordinator Nina advances the vision of developing and delivering a political education curriculum across 10 countries, guided by Global and National Organising School students and alumni. Her role spans curriculum design, recruitment and selection, organising digital and residential sessions, fundraising, and overseeing monitoring, evaluation and reporting. She also maintains alumni relations, secures sustainable funding, and documents the GOS experience for impactful and strategic delivery.

Nqobizitha is a social and economic justice activist with over 13 years of activism and movement-building experience, which began in 2012 at the University of Zimbabwe when he joined the Students’ Union and the International Socialist Organisation. Before joining FIA Zimbabwe as National Coordinator, he worked with the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development, mobilising citizens and activists to become Social and Economic Justice Ambassadors across the country. Between 2018 and 2022 he mentored 400 young activists across Zimbabwe’s higher-education institutions, some of whom became Parliamentarians and Ward Councillors in 2023. He also led the Southern Africa People’s Solidarity Network Trust’s youth network for four years, and holds an MSc in International Development from the University of Manchester.

Preshanti holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences, with over 16 years of experience across finance, compliance and operations. As Finance and Compliance Officer at FIA, she brings more than a decade in the international non-profit and social impact sector, including roles with ActionAid International, CLEAR Global and Skateistan, where her work spanned global budgets, donor and grant reporting, audits, and strengthening financial systems and controls. Preshanti values practical, collaborative ways of working and is committed to helping organisations operate with clarity, accountability and efficiency.

Sigit is a social worker who has worked with KRuHA, campaigning and advocating for water as a fundamental human right, focusing on the impacts of water privatisation and the protection of water resources for marginalised communities. As National Coordinator for Networks and Consolidation at FIA Indonesia, his work extends to climate justice and opposing extractivism to protect local communities from corporate interests.

Wendy plays a pivotal role as Admin and Logistics Officer at FIA, ensuring seamless communication, coordination and support for the Global Secretariat’s operations. She manages logistics, procurement and administrative processes, project-manages key initiatives, and keeps teams on track to drive the efficient delivery of FIA’s global strategy and ambitious 10-year roadmap.
