In November, thousands from communities across the Global South converged on Johannesburg to plot the way to an equitable future. As the G20 elites debated trade issues, an alternative economic vision was building. At the We the 99 People’s Summit, spearheaded by Fight Inequality Alliance, the movement made it clear. We are representative, we are resilient, we have a vision. In a world in crisis, the 99% brought the power to achieve systemic change.
