In October, as the World Bank and IMF meet in Marrakech to hold their Annual Meetings on African soil for the first time in over 50 years, a powerful movement is building for a more radical approach - the creation of an equal future through people-powered alternatives.
It’s time for our movement to speak out. It is time to listen to people-led solutions and stories rooted in the communities of those on the frontlines of inequality. Only people have the solutions to shape a new economic system that addresses the ongoing impacts of the global pandemic and fights inequality. Our stories and demands are powerful. Now they need to go global.
