Janet (Jay) is a pan-African feminist and Economic Justice Lead at Southern Africa Trust, with over 15 years of experience in civil society leadership across Southern Africa. She has spearheaded people-centered development programs and authored work on economic justice and inclusion. Janet previously led ZIMCODD and served as Secretary General of SAPSN. Her bold advocacy earned her the U.S. State Secretary Anti-Corruption Champion award (2022) and Director of the Year in Zimbabwe. Named among the top 50 Emerging Women Leaders, she holds degrees in Politics, International Relations, and is completing her LLB, alongside qualifications in economics and human rights.
