Andrew Karamagi is a community organiser, lawyer, and budding scholar. His areas of interest and practice—for which he has served in Eastern and Southern Africa—are movement building, international humanitarian law, public interest litigation, human rights, and public policy. Karamagi has published and taught on these topical areas. As Principal Political Advisor at the Fight Inequality Alliance, he works with national chapters and global allies to generate and disseminate analysis on country, regional, and global level issues of interest for purposes of informing the alliance’s interventions and positions in its day-to-day work.
