Ed has spent over two decades helping people fight back against a system rigged in favour of the 1%. As Communications and Media Lead at Fight Inequality Alliance, he builds the narratives, campaigns, and movements to make the powerful uncomfortable. Before FIA, he led global advocacy and campaigns at Oxfam across 80+ countries, he also worked in Somalia, East Africa, and headed the global campaign for food, land, and climate at the organisation. Before that, Ed spent years working on the climate crisis and environmental justice, where he learned that the same concentrations of power destroying communities are destroying the planet too. That thread – that it’s all the same connected system – runs through everything he does. Outside work, Ed has young twins occupying his evenings and weekends, which leaves him just enough time for CrossFit and the persistent belief that he is better at it than he actually is.
