Moiz is an expert mobilisation and advocacy strategist with over 12 years of experience building powerful grassroots campaigns and influencing policy change at local, national, and global levels. Specialising in education, gender equality, and social justice, Moiz has successfully led some of Asia’s most impactful campaigns. He was instrumental in driving community mobilisation across Pakistan through Alif Ailaan, the largest education advocacy campaign in the country, activating citizen engagement and creating political accountability on educational reform. His strategic vision as the founding Country Representative for Malala Fund in Pakistan resulted in robust programmes that advanced girls' education by building effective partnerships with governments and civil society amidst challenging socio-political contexts.
At Malala Fund, Moiz also provided strategic direction and multi-country advocacy support across Asia, connecting local activism to global policy dialogues, including high-profile platforms such as the UN General Assembly. His expertise lies in designing powerful advocacy narratives, leveraging grassroots insights for global influence, and amplifying marginalised voices to challenge systemic inequalities—aligning closely with FIA’s vision of people-powered change.
Moiz holds an MSc in Social Anthropology. He is fluent in Urdu, Gujarati and English.
