Nqobizitha Mlambo is a social and economic justice activist with over 13 years of activist and movement building experience. Nqobizitha´s activism journey started in 2012 at the University of Zimbabwe when he joined the Students´ Union and the International Socialist Organisation, from this experience he acquired progressive political education and consciousness which have helped him throughout his activist and professional journey. Prior to joining FIA Zimbabwe as the National Coordinator, Nqobizitha worked with the Zimbabwe Coalition on Debt and Development where he led and championed initiatives that promoted social and economic justice in Zimbabwe through mobilising citizens, and activists to become Social and Economic Justice Ambassadors across the country. Of note, Nqobizitha between 2018 and 2022 mentored 400 young activists across Zimbabwe´s public institutions of higher learning and some of his mentees went on to assume public office in 2023 and became Parliamentarians and Ward Councillors in various Local Authorities across Zimbabwe. In the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region, Nqobizitha led the Southern Africa People Solidarity Network Trust´s youth network for 4 years, a position he used to create solidarity structures in different SADC countries to champion the cause for climate, debt and economic justice.

Nqobizitha has also been a YouTube Vlogger since November 2017 and he sometimes blogs on various social and economic justice issues. He holds an MSc in International Development: Politics, Governance and Development Policy from the University of Manchester (UK).
